Terms of Use
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your use of agor.live (the “Site”), the website for the Agor project, including its documentation, blog, and community resources. The Site is run by Preset, Inc. (“Preset,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What these Terms cover
These Terms cover the Site itself. Agor’s software and services have their own terms:
- Agor Community Edition is source-available software licensed under the Business Source License 1.1 , including its Additional Use Grant. That license, not these Terms, governs your use of the software, including when you download it through the Site, npm, or GitHub.
- Agor Cloud, the hosted service at console.agor.cloud, is governed by the Agor Cloud Terms of Service .
- Contributions to the Agor repository are governed by the repository’s license and contribution guidelines .
If these Terms conflict with one of those, the other one controls for its subject.
2. Using the Site’s content
The Site’s documentation, blog posts, images, videos, and other content (the “Content”) are owned by Preset or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws.
You may read, download, and share the Content, and use the documentation and its examples to learn about, install, run, and build on Agor. When you share or quote the Content, please link back to the Site and don’t present it as your own or modify it in a misleading way. Code in the Agor repository is licensed under that repository’s license (see section 1).
3. Names and logos
“Agor,” “Agor Cloud,” “Preset,” and their logos are trademarks of Preset. You may use the names to refer to Agor and Preset accurately, but not in a way that suggests we sponsor or endorse you or your product, or as part of your own product or company name, without our written permission.
Other product names, logos, and brands mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners. Their appearance on the Site does not mean those companies are affiliated with or endorse Agor.
4. Acceptable use
When using the Site, do not:
- interfere with or disrupt the Site, or try to get around its security or access controls;
- send automated traffic at a rate that degrades the Site for others;
- use the Site to distribute malware or other harmful code, or for anything unlawful or fraudulent; or
- misrepresent who you are or your affiliation with Preset or the Agor project.
Search engines, AI assistants, and other tools may read and index the Site, including through its llms.txt files, provided they follow robots.txt and don’t impair the Site.
5. Feedback
We welcome feedback, ideas, and suggestions about the Site and Agor. If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it for any purpose without obligation to you. Code contributions are handled as described in section 1.
6. Third-party links and services
The Site links to and embeds third-party services, such as GitHub, Discord, YouTube, npm, and our scheduling and form providers. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices; their own terms and privacy policies apply.
7. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through the Site.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and the Content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Preset disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We work to keep the documentation accurate and current, but we do not guarantee that the Site or the Content is complete, accurate, up to date, or available without interruption. Instructions, commands, and examples in the documentation can affect your systems and data; review them and use them at your own risk.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Preset will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Site or the Content, even if we have been told such damages are possible. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or the Content is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco, California, and you and Preset consent to their jurisdiction.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as the Site changes. We will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the new Terms.
12. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and Preset about the Site.
